A week-long residential summer music camp for students age 14-20 who
want to explore music composition.
- Composition tutorials
- Two readings of scores for silent film by a professional ensemble (submit scores by June 1, 2010)
- 2-hours of daily music theory/ear-training
- Compose and perform new compositions
- Daily “salons” with guest artists: composers Stephen Paulus and Sean McMahon, pianist Matthew McCright
- Field trips: Minnesota Orchestra, ice cream social
- Music technology lab, practice rooms
- Room and board
Cost: $650, inclusive
