Political campaign mentions 2010 Junior Composers Institute

It doesn't happen very often to be mentioned in a political campaign but Junior Composers was included in a video blog post on Jim Meffert's campaign YouTube channel this summer. Jim's wife, Karrin Meffert-Nelson, played clarinet in our silent film readings this summer (2010). You can watch the video blog yourself, but the gist of the message is that the future of our culture is in the hands (and imaginations) of today's young people. We, as a country, need to do everything in our power to make sure we invest in those hands (and imaginations)!
