This is a short checklist of things that you will need to bring with you to camp:

  • Your instrument(s)
  • Flash (thumb) drive to save your compositions
  • Laptop computer (if available) with music notation software. The U of M’s tech lab uses Finale 2009
  • Toothbrush and other personal toiletries
  • DVD or link to your silent film (if you are participating in Live Music Silent Film)
  • Money for snacks and a meal during one of the field trips (approximately $20 for the Institute, $40 for the Studio)
  • Dress clothes for the Festival Salons and one of the field trips
  • Key deposit money ($150 check)
  • Staff paper, note paper
  • Pencils, pens
  • Drinking cup
  • Scores and recordings of previous compositions (if you would like to have your composition teacher look at them during your lessons)
