This is a short checklist of things that you will need to bring with you to camp:
- Your instrument(s)
- Flash (thumb) drive to save your compositions
- Laptop computer (if available) with music notation software. The U of M’s tech lab uses Finale 2009
- Toothbrush and other personal toiletries
- DVD or link to your silent film (if you are participating in Live Music Silent Film)
- Money for snacks and a meal during one of the field trips (approximately $20 for the Institute, $40 for the Studio)
- Dress clothes for the Festival Salons and one of the field trips
- Key deposit money ($150 check)
- Staff paper, note paper
- Pencils, pens
- Drinking cup
- Scores and recordings of previous compositions (if you would like to have your composition teacher look at them during your lessons)
