Scholarships

Junior Composers is a non-profit organization. There are limited funds set aside this year for a very small number of scholarships.

In addition, each state federation in the North Central Region of the National Federation of Music Clubs has scholarships available through their composition competitions. In many cases, students can enter the NFMC junior composer contests or the NMTA composition contests which award cash prizes towards scholarships. For example, a North Dakota student is eligible for the Evelyn Sampson award given through NFMC. Contact your state federation for information on other awards by clicking here.
